Pepe Reina has signed a one-year deal with Villarreal after departing Lazio. The 39-year-old previously spent three seasons playing for the Spanish club. He helped them qualify for the Champions League for the first time ever in 2005. Reina became one of the Premier League’s best goalkeepers while at Liverpool. Pepe Reina says he has fulfilled his ‘promise’ to return to Villarreal, 17 years after leaving the club to join Liverpool.

Pepe Reina, the New AC Milan goalkeeper revealed recently that he has left a piece of his heart at Napoli, while playing for the team ahead of the Series A opener on Rossoneri opposite the partenopei.
He was interviewed recently and questioned about the upcoming clash that involves Napoli and Milan. In the reply to this question, the Spaniard said: “Immediately return to Naples?
